If They Could See Me Now …

I headed north to Elkton to help Cecil county photographer Scott Serio photograph the dress rehearsal for the Cecil Dancenter’s 2010 Recital.
Because of all the colorful lights used during the performances, flash or strobes is a huge no-no if you want to capture the mood of the performance. I used my Canon 5D Mark II and 70-200 f/2.8L lens. I shot at ISO 3200 and set my white balance to tungsten. Below are the results.

Yesterday was the 35th anniversary of the inaugural Baltimore Pride back in 1975. My assignment was to cover the traditional high-heel race and the parade which followed immediately after.
Baltimore Pride celebrates the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. The slideshow above are images captured from the day.

Julie and Jason picked the perfect weather day for their spring wedding. The sunny and 72-degree day couldn’t have been nicer for their outdoor wedding at Thorpewood in Thurmont, Maryland.
Unfortunately for me, my mother passed away the night before the wedding and I was unable to cover it. My heartfelt thank you goes out to Bill Millios and Lori Smith for stepping in and doing a tremendous job in my absence.
